WE'VE GOT THE BIGGEST PITCH IN THE FOOTBALL LEAGUE
'COS CITY ARE A MASSIVE CLUB
More to the point how can the dips spin these figures to win the pitch cup?
Is it compliant with Football Fair Pitch FFP?
Yet they always say Wembley "is a big pitch" 115 yd × 74 yd
Liverpool fans gutted as didnt win 2nd place winners medal
These aren't important. It's whooooo's got the widest lines and the longest grass wot matters, wacccchhh.
I get why width helps attacking teams - but length is different. Would you get more goals in a shorter pitch?
Closer to the goal when you win the ball back in the transitions.
But "they" tend to be lazy pundits, reporters and commentators, without an accurate thought between them.
Where did you get these figures from?
As far as I understand all prem league pitches have to be the same size unless special dispensation has been given.
That would be impossible and as far as I`m aware we still have minimum and maximum dimensions within the FIFA World Rules.
FIFA's measurements for an 11-a-side pitch are the exact same as the FA's with those numbers being the standard across the professional tiers of worldfootball. The dimensions must fall between being 100-130 yards (90-120m) long and 50-100 yards (45-90m) wide.3 Sep 2018
