this new thing called wikipedia. ;)Where did you get these figures from?
As far as I understand all prem league pitches have to be the same size unless special dispensation has been given.

Yes, you are totally wrong:Totally wrong !!
The Pitch
K.15. Unless otherwise permitted by the Board, in League Matches the length of the pitch shall be 105 metres and its breadth 68 metres.
K.16. The Board shall only give permission to a Club for the dimensions of its pitch to be other than as set out in Rule K.15 if it is impossible for it to comply with Rule K.15 due to the nature of the construction of its Stadium.
K.17. A Club shall register the dimensions of its pitch before the commencement of each Season by giving written notice thereof in Form 8 to the Board.
K.18. The Board may at any time require a Club to obtain and submit to the Board a report by an independent expert certifying its pitch dimensions.
K.19. No Club shall alter the dimensions of its pitch during the Season without the prior written consent of the Board.
K.20. The height of the pitch grass shall not exceed 30mm and the entire playing surface must be cut to the same height. The grass shall be cut so as to display straight, parallel lines across the entire width of the pitch, perpendicular to the touchlines. No other form of pitch presentation (such as circular or diagonal patterns) is permitted.
K.21. Each Club shall take all reasonable steps to maintain its pitch in good condition throughout the Season and the Board may require a Club to take such steps as the Board shall specify if it is not satisfied that the pitch is being maintained to an adequate standard.
K.22. Each Club shall provide and maintain at its Stadium an undersoil heating system for its pitch and shall ensure, so far as is reasonably possible, that the pitch is playable on the occasion of each home League Match.
Which again isn’t the Premier League which the thread title is about.Field of play 100 to 105 m long, 64 to 68 m wide (109–115 yd × 70–74 yd) 105 m long, 68 m wide (115 yd × 74 yd)
These are the UEFA figures for the different categories of grounds 1-4.
Total bollocks and I`ve NO idea where you got these shit figures from ?
So by your method City would have to shut down part of their attendance to extend such figures ??
Please see Matron !!
Not in the PL, no.You could theoretically have a virtually square pitch.

!!!You utter bell end.
City’s playing surface is that size exactly.
You have had no end of data from myself and SWP to correct your fallacious nonsense yet you persist in a deranged barrage of outdated rubbish.
My apologies mate.Think the Guinness got the better of me last night. You utter bell end.

My apologies and yes you are both correct.I certainly wasn`t aware of that ruling and certainly no-one in my local knew about this.Yes, you are totally wrong:
https://www.theguardian.com/football/blog/2014/oct/29/pochettino-pitch-size-does-matter
“Two years ago the Premier League attempted to standardise pitch size. “Unless otherwise permitted by the board, in league matches the length of the pitch shall be 105 metres and its breadth 68 metres,” read rule K21. The next rule, however, states that exceptions are allowed “if it is impossible to comply with rule K21 due to the nature of the construction of the ground”.
Ten Premier League clubs comply perfectly with the 105m x 68m regulations – Arsenal, Aston Villa, Hull, Manchester City, Manchester United, Newcastle, Southampton, Sunderland, Swansea and West Bromwich Albion – although there are only minor differences elsewhere.”
If that link referencing the rule K21 isn’t enough, have some more:
https://www.interestingfacts.org.uk/which-club-has-the-smallest-pitch-in-the-english-premier-league/
https://www.sportseconomics.org/sports-economics/pitch-size-and-goals-scored
https://www.football-stadiums.co.uk/articles/are-all-football-pitches-the-same-size/ (Though this one goes into great detail, it explains the PL have their own rule towards the bottom of the article)
Oh and if you don't believe those links then read the actual Premier League Handbook:
https://premierleague-static-files....4-edf8a56c23c1/2019-20-PL-Handbook-020819.pdf
It's on page 141 (of the PDF), page 137 of the handbook itself, and I quote:
Note it is now rule K.15 though it was K.21 when first introduced in 2012.
I’d already quoted the exact rule. Don’t know why you continued being wrong after that, nor why you were so aggressive about it with me and denislaw, especially 'calling matron', very odd.
