Amazing striking stats - as well as the rest.
What I love about the City strike force is that the three men each have a very distinct, original attacking personality.

Aston Villa
* Barry Bannan attempted the most passes of any Villa player at Wigan on Saturday with just 32 but his pass completion rate was 59%.
That is absolutely dreadful that the most passes of a player on a team is just 32, well for a team what Villa were a short time ago, Mcleish was definitely a wrong appointment.

Besides the subs, only Joe Hart completed less passes than that for us on Saturday.

Danny Welbeck has produced neither a goal nor an assist in his last six games in all competitions.

I wonder what Clevz would have to say about that in the canteen as he gnashes on his plastic fork?

Those stats good enough for Pearce though in calling him up over Graham or Holt

That really is awful reading. I think they have taken Fat Sam's percentage game to a whole new level.

How on earth did they win with only having 26% possession too?! Crazy!

watched MOTD 2 ON i player last night-the pundits said stoke did a great job on swansea, breaking the play down with great energy levels, they never stopped running blah blah, credit to tony pullis..

what were they doing, breaking the play down and giving the ball straight back to swansea? 26% possession on your own ground against a team that came up last season and are shit away from home is nowt to shout about...neither is sending the reserves to valencia to save the the 1st team for the mighty swans...ffs.

-- Thu Mar 01, 2012 8:48 am --

Mario,s goal return of 1 every 83 premiership minutes played is outstanding. has any player got a better stat i wonder? maybe vanrapist...
