Premiership olympics - Manchester City Track and Field

Seeing as its Friday I thought we could have a bit of fun with this

Track

60m Shaun Wright Phillips
100m Nedum Onouha
110m Hurdles Micah Richards
200m Nedum Onouha
400m Shaun Wright Phillips
800m Craig Bellamy
1500m Carols Tevez
3000m Steeplechase Kolo Toure

Field

Long Jump Micah Richards
High Jump Micah Richards
Triple Jump Sheyi Emmanuel Adebayor

Javelin Shay Given
Shotput Joleon Lescott
Discus Wayne Bridge
Hammer Vincent Kompany

Please let me know if you agree or disagree with any of my predictions.

I would love to hear from any of the guys that regularly watch training and would have some insight into the running events

This would be a great idea for a TV program, with players from each Premiership team competing.

I think we would finish pretty high up in Premiership olympics, but which team would win?

Which lead me to thinking who the fastest premiership player over 100m would be.

Would Nedum beat Walcott or Abonglahor over 100m - any other current premiership players that may be faster?

Who is the fastest player ever to have played in the Premiership?

Cheers

Surely it was proven that Hughes was for the High Jump??

(taxi!)

micah should defo be doing the hammer, how many other players do we have that look like they have been fed steroids for breakfast. thats just his sport, apart from footy, but apart from that you are pretty accurate there mate.

60m - Bellamy
100m - Onuoha
110m hurdles - Richards
200m - Toure
400m - SWP
800m - Zabaleta
1500 - Tevez
3000 steeplechase - De Jong

Long jump - Toure
High jump - Kompany
Triple jump - Richards

Javelin - Given
Shotput - Onuoha
Discuss - Sylvinho
Hammer - De Jong

After his pitch length run against Arsenal surely Adebayor would be better for the 400m or more. I don't think he'd have stopped running if the Arsenal fans were still back in London!
