Right, this. This thread for the last several pages seems to be operating in some bizzaro world where the current President isn't Donald Trump and each example of a Biden misstep isn't something he does several times worse every single week.
It’s desperation. They got their jollies by owning the libs for a while, which is the only reason they supported him in the first place, and then their leader fucked it all up like the rest of us predicted he would when he actually had to lead.
The other side of the aisle is stammering with rage because their progressive agenda hasn’t been wholesale adopted with immediate effect as an effective counterpoint against Trump at a national level. So it MUST be a problem with the system. They trumpet Progressive wins in smaller places but at the same time decry incrementalism — which the left-side of the party aisle would be happy to embrace and Biden will, despite the bitter cries of know-nothings who say he won’t. It’s all cronyism when they don’t get all they want — want a fucking shock they don’t have broader support from average folks.
I’ve said it before and I’ll say it again. The average American just wants a President they don’t have to worry about, someone they can respect and ignore. No one wants to talk and think about politics all day. Average folks want to live their lives in peace and safety and most of all predictability, which neither of the radical element of either side offers. Which is why I expect old boring Joe Biden to do quite well in this election, and quite well as a one-term President (hopefully).
