President Joe Biden

You know for all the writing Fog has posted, he doesn't realise he's as brainwashed as every other NeoLib MSNBC/ CNN watching dogooder.

How can a constitution written for the intention of a White leader be equal in its distribution? How can any Black person believe in a national anthem designed to hold up and celebrate the power of the White man?

I know this is solid cos it's NEVER contested on here, so therefore the 'house' is built upon shaky foundations. When you can't acknowledge the system is lopsided, you will believe what you're told especially if you benefit from it.

When in a race, the person you're supposedly running with already has a 60 metre start, there's an issue of unfairness, right??

All the OTHER shyte he speaks of is the icing around the cake those people critique, unwilling to actually cut into it to see the substance. They love the look of it too much!

Since I like analogies try this as an overview:

How many times did you walk past the homeless person or cross the road or said you can't help them before you gave them a coin and went off home to your own bubble, feeling like you've done a good deed? Only the dogooder notices there's a real problem when the homeless person occupies their street as it's too close to home then.

It's always the quick fix to the ease the conscience rather than the prevention of homelessness for that homeless individual.

I'd ask if people like FISF supported reparations but I reckon I know the answer, but the problem is there's a groundswell beginning to voice this now. If NeoLibs want to help the disenfranchised, they'd seriously look at it, but they'd not be NeoLibs anymore.

And then there's this false notion of if Biden wins there's more chance of Progressives getting in.

Since Biden is not entertaining ANY Progressives in his would-be cabinet, it's going to be down to the people to vote them in down ballot as people are doing now, despite opposition from Dems (actively campaigning against them and losing on a more regular basis now) and the GOP.

So, as you can see, it doesn't matter who's the pres in that sense, so stop voter shaming, you deaf and blind NeoLibs.
I have seen you mention down voting a couple of times. Would you mind explaining what that means for me. I haven't heard the term before. Thanks in advance.

It means voting for candidates (Progressives in this case, though usually running as Democrats) in “down ballot” races for offices representing smaller local groups, i.e. for Congress, or mayor, or Sanitation Board, etc. So called because ballots normally arrange selections from national to state to local to super-local and often in order of perceived “importance”, followed by initiatives and propositions.

Interesting vid from Vice News about the mining community and their complicated situation. What really caught my eye is the silent voter as they keep their counsel until voting day.

I though the notion that CHina are stealing from the States was interesting.

There is a conflict for sure. Should the mines be allowed to ride roughshod over the environment in order to boost / maintain some profitability? How's the Newfoundland cod industry going, East of England herring industry, English coal mining? Times change.

Things evolve and whilst I understand Juniors perspective it is only his perspective (obviously the mining communitys point of view also) but there is more than one side to this particular coin. More investment in alternatives to keep these communitys afloat is required (imo), not the model of either fuck the planet and/or trying to keep a dead duck alive at whatever cost.

Obviously it needn't be said that Juniors pov that Trump is a man of the people is rather detached from reality.

Smashing, thanks. Knowledge is power. Kneel before Zod! Oops, that's the red wine talking.

Honestly, I sympathise with communities like this.

Imagine being the only real economic substance that gives people an income and it's on the verge of going extinct because no one was bothered enough to diversify the economic interests for the community.

The Dems saw this and did nothing about it, kicking the can down the road for incremental action, thinking they had time on their hands. Mañana! Mañana!!

All platitudes and promises from the former WH admin and a Dem mayor who sees the truth enough to be desperate to listen to the 'snake oil salesman' in town.

Anyway, I know the snobby NeoLibs on here are dead set against learning more than what corporates tell them, so I'll post this for anyone else who has time to listen to the break down of the hypocritical groupthink of that demographic.

At some point, earlier in the thread, I mentioned Joe Rogan's podcast and was roundly scoffed at for bringing him into the discussion. Rogan is now a player in the game as THE biggest voice on the net, should he choose to be.

He, effectively, represents the island of voter that has no real love for both camps.

Here's an excellent breakdown on why he's seen as such a problem to the NeoLib/ Dem estab.

Watch, if and when you have time as it makes a LOT of sense imo.
