It's important to understand that there is an Irish-American lobby in the USA which is important to Democrat Presidents in particular. They have to play to it. There is no equivalent British lobby.

This is an old hit piece from when the NOMINATION wasn’t even secured...eight months before the election! Yawn!

The problem is that Biden may well have NOT been the greatest opponent against a strong Republican Presidential candidate, but it was ALL about defeating Trump...and he did, in RECORD NUMBERS!

CHARACTER MATTERS, and we have learned that a lying sociopath makes for a bad President, so we went the other way.

Now, look to policies, professionals in places of significance, and a general return to adults running the country.

Biden may not be the sharpest tool in the shed, but he’s smart enough to be surrounding himself with a cadre of professionals who know how to get things done, and understand what makes a “government of the people, by the people, for the people” so important (from Lincoln’s Gettysburg address).

I have said repeatedly that I’m not sure if Biden will make it for the full four years, because I do think he is an old man. I also worry that he’s slightly “Grandpa-ly” in that he likes to go “off script” believing he is spreading some kind of olde worlde insight and experience, not realizing modern public speaking is a minefield of delicate, often overly sensitive, issues that cause more trouble than one might imagine in a world where faux outrage on social media literally pays cold hard cash.

While to some he may be bringing the smell of stale Grandpa to the Oval Office, for others he is opening the windows and airing out the place, so the fresh breeze of a highly educated, dedicated cadre of REAL public servants, displaying the full and beautiful diversity of America can blow through the halls of the White House and the institutions over which it has jurisdiction.

Trump was a cancer on the United States, a malignancy that will not easily be exorcised from the American body. In Biden, we have taken the first steps in cutting out the deadly pathogen and returning the body politic to a healthier path for all Americans.

That’s something a right wing commentator on an Aussie right wing broadcaster appears incapable of understanding.

White supremacy has ALWAYS been a thing, and was de facto political reality until SOME OF US came to our senses. Thankfully, we have some shining examples throughout history to prove the white man has never been “superior,” only perhaps better at building and organizing his tools for spreading his might beyond his borders in an effort to create more and greater domination through exercise of that might.

Supremacy, when preceded by white, fails to account for 99% of the human condition, often beginning with compassion and ending with intellect.
