We won't be tired then ;-)Our preseason plans are always a mess. Other teams seem to be organising games this week. We now only have Preston and the Charity Shield before our opener against Spurs.

Not much we can do, given how late our players are coming back. I'd much rather them have a proper break than have them rushed back to play pre-season fixtures.

this pre-season will be about rest for most of the world class players after 15 months non stop football
your body says enough. but your mind says otherwise
pressure on losing your place and a manager under pressure to win for the club and fans don't help
all the players was asking for is 2 weeks longer for this pre-season its all that was needed
push the start date back to early September and it would be right ? players would be fresher and fitter and reduce their chances of injury or burn out
i don't see KDB making any sort football or training for a month ? the lad was pushed to the limit in the euros
and played with injections to a ankle ligaments tear. also he still not healed properly from the injury in the champions league final.

Does anyone knows anything about our youngsters from EDS who were supposed to be promoted to the first team after pre season with Pep? I mean Delap, Cole Palmer etc. I hadn't seen them on any pictures on the OS or Twitter. Just Sandler, Ben Knight, Yan Couto.

We have enough players to knock together half a dozen games - City A v City B, City C v City D, and the week after City A v City C, and so on until we run out of letters. Our D team would give some of the PL teams a decent game.
