Price of Asahi Super Dry at ground

I like the Asahi and think it’s reasonable value, my issue on Saturday was the chicken balti pies have been made smaller imo, definitely seemed like one of those instances where instead of increasing price we make the product smaller.

The biggest improvement is from paper cups to the plastic cups.

I don't know who's fault it was at City, but the combination of Amstel Larger in paper cups was the worst tasting beer I have ever had. And that took some doing. Carlsberg in plastic bottles at Burnley wasn't far behind.

As for Asahi, it's not bad at all. For a beer at a football ground it's pretty decent.

Sadly it still doesn't come close to Beavertown - Gamma Ray Pale Ale that is brewed onsite at the new Spurs stadium. Fuck me, it's good!

The number one spot belongs to Beavertown Brewery, or at least their Gamma Ray American Pale Ale.

Other lines are available from the Tottenham-based brewers, and Heineken is also stocked at the new Spurs stadium, but while Mauricio Pochettino and his side will remain ranked only as high as dark horses for the Premier League title, their in-house hoppy associates sit pretty as the best the clubs of the capital have to offer.

Hopefully City will do something similar and incorporate a micro brewery into the proposed fanzine. I doubt it will happen. But you never know.

the pints are good quality for what you’d get in a football stadium, £5 is cheap

More fool anyone buying the food/slop inside the ground though with the vendors outside and in up the road in NQ/Ancoats
