Primal Scream - Screamadelica

It's class isn't it. Think the last gig i went to there was Janelle Monai a few years back and it was incredible. Lovely summer evening, top tunes, in the middle of mcr. What more can you ask for.
Yep, certainly changed a bit since i last went when it was just a bowl and the stage was under the arches.
Six quid for a little can of lager was taking the piss though.

Yeah, it's usually pretty steep. As I said above, we'll go and have a few ridiculously overpriced pints nearby in town before heading into the gig and switching to ridiculously overpriced cans.

it was the album that made the penny drop in terms of having a smoke and music for me. and it's never not sounded good since. and we've got to raise a glass to andrew weatherall whenever the album is mentioned and all. as much his album as anyone's, a genius
Apropos of not very much; Andy Weatherall was i my class at school. Shame he died young.

Looking forward to it big time tomorrow; gonna be a long afternoon and evening; in a good way.
I was all set for getting in the venue early but reading about the support acts, lack of DJs and beer prices etc, think it’ll be out and about then arrive nearer when they’re coming on.
Any good suggestions for pubs & bars playing good tunes 5pm - 8pm ish?

Also a sneaky look at the set list in advance so got an idea what order they’re playing the tracks in. Some tasty encores too :-)

Anyway if you’re going too, enjoy.

good chance we'll head to hatch on oxford road pre-gig, it's just opposite MMU if you don't know it. decent beers, chilled venue and normally decent tunes. it's an outside venue so the weather's perfect for it today

Will deffo try it out later - cheers - just on the train into town now :-)

sound. if you go throw us a message on here and we'll see if we're about. be good to say hello for a pint, think we're planning on getting into town about half six and we'll head straight there
Ok mate, if timings work, will do via PM. As I said before, we’re not fussed about getting in the venue early.
