Prorogation - Judgment Day:10.30am Tuesday 24/9/19

Murderer.

Why thanks? I would like to see you in the House of Commons during these debates. The quality of debate from some of the hysterical women on the left last night was frankly an insult to Boris. He would have faced tougher challenges in the under 11s Eton debating society.

The Mogg didn't even stir.

Rascal, without wanting to sound condescending you are clearly a bright fella. You must realise that Corbyn is deeply unpopular with a large centre section of the Labour vote. I have many friends and work collegaues who are labour voters and I can think of two who are prepared to vote for him. The rest have said they will vote Lib Dems or not vote. A couple have indicated they will vote Brexit Party and one has said he will even vote for Boris! He is that devisive even given the golden hand he has been dealt with by the current shambles in power. John Smith or Robin Cook, both of whom I respected greatly, would have wiped the floor with this government. Sadly neither are no longer with I us. Politics is at a very low ebb right now.

A record majority Labour government awaits if they just get rid of Corbyn.

I think Smith in particular would've made a great PM. The current shower - on all sides - are laughable in comparison

That's a shame as the policies are good, sadly we are becoming Americanised and personality and likeability are just as important.

I will continue to hope for a Socialist government and the one thing that Corbyn has done that is irrefutable is that he has dragged the Overton window leftwards after years of right wing domination.

But you have to accept that you as a self proclaimed socialist / communist and extreme left winger are in the vast minority. The vast majority of people don't want that and recognise that it does not work.

It would depend on who they replaced him with

Agree.

Some of that front bench are truly shocking as is the majority of parliament right across the parties right now.

We have no real statesmen or women anymore and its showing.

I think it’s quite likely that Corbyn will stand down this year. But I’m sure he will be replaced by someone of similar beliefs. I don’t think there’s any possibility of him being replaced by anyone who could win a clear majority in an election
