Prorogation - Judgment Day:10.30am Tuesday 24/9/19

He is up against people who are refusing to deliver on the will of the people and who wont give us a general election. He is clearly frustrated. In an election he would win in a landslide and get Brexit done. I know you are fearful of Brexit but I see it and so do many others as a wonderful opportunity. The world wont stop spinning.
If he got in with a landslide majority, do you think it is more or less likely that the UK would leave with NO Deal?

Here's BBc for reference:

The Department for Education (DfE) asked 1,183 parents about uniform costs in 2015 and found it came to almost £213 per child. Adjusting its figures for inflation, it would make the average cost of uniform in 2019 almost £230 per pupil.
Cost about £130 for my son this year, shoes 2 pairs trousers 3 shirts tie sweatshirt. Help was available from the school for the sweatshirt and tie for those needing help

3 grandchildren at school. 2 infants 1 senior.
I help with the cost of shoes.

Lol ok, well in it's subjectiveness it's a bit challenged by the BBC as a figure for the average British pupil, but i don't doubt that you tell the truth for youre particular situation and i did ask for the views of parents.

Are there private schools that are significantly more expensive and kinda for the rich, or are they roughly all the same class and quality wise?

I guess there maybe some schools that insist on specific blazers and badges that are exclusive to some suppliers and are expensive. Not most mainstream schools though

The former, generally.

I went to a private school and I was from a council estate and didn't have a blazer for the first term as mum couldn't afford it. Also had a wooden lacrosse stick from Oxfam.

Private schools are a positive thing in my opinion.

Edit - I thrived on being the poorest kid in the school while everyone was form what seemed ridiculously rich families to me at the time. Did not give a fuck that I had no blazer and walked around proudly in my shirt.

I don't see how.

Statistics i was looking at had cost for uniforms for British school children at around 250 pounds per year. A family in Belgium would pay around 500 euros per year on clothing for a child and the clothing worn in school wouldi guess be about half of the stuff they wear. Doesn't really seem to make a different in terms of statistics, if you want to make this argument you actually have the burden of the proof so feel free to put it in numbers.
Its not exclusively about cost...theres huge pressure on kids as it is....some/many families cant afford to compete when it comes to keeping up with trends....

Fitting in is important at school....i fully support kids being allowed to express themselves but they don't need another reason to be picked on.
