There has been a lot in the news lately about them. In some respects I can’t say I blame them. It is well documented that climate change is here and yet our government, along with many others, are just sitting on their hands. People’s voices are not being heard so it is not surprising that people take to the streets. Of course, our infamous right wing press, instead of highlighting the issues, have decided to focus on policing, along with our Home Secretary. Wanting to lock them all up. So no surprise there then.

There has been a rise in anti political elite protests. Our own, of course, forced on Brexit and USA has seen Mr Fart in charge.

Read a very good article in Radio Times today about it being a waste of time asking us to do our bit and that all the moves should come from Government. People will not do something if it ‘hurts’, see the sugar, salt, fat reduction efforts. The moves have to come from government. No good telling us to move away from diesel cars to electric ones and making them prohibitively expensive. Take banning plastics! If this government wanted they could make moves to ban plastics at a stroke. Little Samoa has banned ALL plastic bags and other items so why can’t we? I could go on but you probably can site examples yourselves. So it is no wonder that people take to the street if they find that their voices are not being listened to.

The point they are trying to make (I think) is that people need to be putting pressure on the government to do something about it. It's all well and good recycling your plastic bottles but if Coca Cola are manufacturing 113 billion of them a year then we need to stop Coca Cola from doing that in the first place. If the government puts pressure on them to use a more ecologically-friendly material in their manufacture by, say, making it illegal to sell that stuff in plastic bottles in this country then Coca Cola will have comply (or lose a lot of business). As it is, Western governments seem to work in favour of these huge businesses and against the rest of us, which will end in a Mad Max-like situation in less than 50 years, if we're unlucky. Fair play to them for bringing this to everyone's attention but how we actually get our government(s) to do something about it is another matter entirely.

Civic minded individuals who are speaking for everyone who doesn't have the time, or the money, to spend days in London away from their jobs and families. I salute them all, especially the celebrities who have given up their valuable time to fly in from thousands of miles away to protest at the airport. God, Allah and all the other Gods bless them all....

The fuckers complaining about their commute need to realise they won’t have a work to go to unless we do something drastically different within the next 10 years.

Unless India, China, USA, Russia etc play ball they are wasting their time,
I don't know how the country is still running with all these important workers missing.
who is teaching the choirs, teaching us how to pronounce words on Audio Books.

Fucking dreamers, get back to your non jobs, you non productive parasites.

That’s brilliant! Not seen that guy before. I assume he is “somebody” in the UK.

God, we need someone like him over here, but I realize the people here are too thick to get it, so more wasted effort! Sheesh!!
He's just a comedian and an average one at that.
