How do people find the time and money to this, like ufology and ghost hunters, they must have day jobs yet when you see any interviewed they state they spend years in the study and on field work.
Now it is not a recognised ology , but psuedoscience so who would study such with no real degree/phd or many jobs out there, find it odd tbf.
Though it would be cool if some of the cryptids could be proved to exist, such as
Nessie
Champ
Sasquatch/Big foot
Ogopogo
Dohbar-chu
Bukit timah monkey man
Alaskan fire dragon
Chupacabra
Mongolian death worm
Yeti
Canvey Island Monster
Etc
That is just a small list their are 100s of mythical/folklore creature these people look for.
They are also proponents of young earth creationism which is batshit crazy.
It would be cool to find such creatures but seems like most are red herrings
