PSP downloads

got a psp for xmas and have heard that you can download old skool nes games and what not, does anyone know how i can download one of these emulators and and from?

You wont have a chance anymore mate, any psp bought recently have got new firmware pre-installed on them that prevents you from using these "Home-Brew" emulators as they are sometimes known. any psp bought no later than 2 months after they were released will play these without a problem but any after that have got copyright protection built in, stopping the games from running. You simply get a "file is corrupted and cannot be opened" error.

I dont have a psp but firmware can normally be replaced so I am sure you can easily replace the firmware on the newer psp so you can install an emulator.

you cant on psps because sony put protection on the psp itself so that the firmware cannot be accessed. as the firmware is installed on the internal psp memory itself and not the external memory stick there's no way to get to it because the psps memory can't be displayed in windows.
