Couldn't make the game for money reasons,
anyone know any pubs in south manchester or town showing the game
cheers

I'll be in the lass, as per. Not really South Manchester though - there usually seem to be loads of people that know places round Stockport/Heatons way.

my blue mate goes in there a lot and says it is very mixed. Will ask his opinion tomorrow as he is pretty regular in there.

what are the ones in stockport, heatons?

Not sure as I don't really get down that way, but search for any pub/footy thread and there's usually some, or wait for 'em to turn up and post on here tomorrow!

Yeah it's definitely pretty 50/50, but a pretty nice crowd generally, even the red ones. I even ended up having a chat with two of the twats about the Glazer situation, in our home shirt, while I was having a fag out back on Sunday, and they didn't even belt me for commenting on their nice Norwich scarf! They also have one red and one blue bouncer on when we're both playing, which is nice!

i work in the pub next to the lass (joshua brookes), they usually have the games on a big screen. think bottles of tuborg are £2 for 2 till 9, other than that cocktails are cheap and bit expensiv a pint. got a jukebox full of music youll love tho adam (smiths, oasis etc.)

Does this lass place let kids in

On Sunday's evidence yes, though it was Mother's day (don't say I don't treat the old dear right - I even got her a mineral water while we watched it!)

I wouldn't say they're a regular fixture as it's quite a 'pubby' pub more than a big family place, but they do appear to be allowed.

-- Mon Mar 15, 2010 11:39 pm --

Unless you're a bitter drinker - Betty's best £2.25 a pint. The fucker's really should be paying me!

Which one are you then? JB's is my occasional 'it's packed in the Lass' football overspill pub, and I ran a night downstairs for a couple of years!

You've doubtless served me - tough one as all the bar staff are ugly looking ;)
