My parents will be there on holiday on Monday visiting my brother who's doing his PHD at Columbia. We are Manc ex pats, they currently live in NC (im back and forth between the uk and us with work these days), they've been in there a few times and love it. Home away from home for blues. I've popped in once. Got horribly pissed at 8 in the morning during the FA cup stoke match.

I've just got back from NYC and we went to the Mad Hatter for a pint, not when a game was on though. There are four or five signed shirts and a few scarves. In my humble opinion, this bar needs a lot more City stuff on display to be classed as a great City pub - it certainly has the potential to be an iconic MCFC bar

I wish I'd taken a few of my own items to donate to the wall !

The Mad Hatter is the Canine's Testicles for watching City games in New York.

It is a mixture of ex-pat Mancs and locals, who are all extremely friendly.

We had a great day with the regulars and will be going in there again the next time we get to NYC.

It was very odd to hear proper noo yawk accents hollering and whooping for "ciddy". Most noticeable though was their knowledge of the club and they absolutely had no truck for the odd dissenting comment. I told them about DD and Billy Shears. Clearly, these born and bred New Yorkers and Jerry, a San Franciscan, who played football as a kid and picked City 30 years ago for the kit and has stuck with us since, cannot be better fans as the morose twosome who go week in week out.

It was ace.

Hi

Was in there Saturday catching up with U.S based blues who are regulars there. Good turnout of Blues.

The bar has just been redecorated hence not as much City stuff up, believe me they have loads of it!
