Just an observation, I couldnt make the game today but my season ticket was used by a member of family, i did manage to watch via a stream most of the match, not the greatest game but we won which is vital at this stage of the season, however at a quiet point in the game mid-way thru the second half the TV (English via SKY I think) panned the crowd, it focused on firstly a very obese female city fan glugging a bottle of pop, then some fans who were not really looking at the pitch and game but an emphasis was made of a lot of empty seats next to them, then focused on another girl (fat again ! ) not remotely interested in the game, playing with her mobile.... then it struck me these pictures were taken at half time, but inserted into the game as though it was live, WHY would the TV companies do this.... ??? Agenda, yes I think so. Any angle they can find to put us down it seems, also english commentators were very critical of empty seats and lack of atmosphere.

My stream was setanta and it was very very negative throughout.

Constant mentions of the crowd being quiet, impatient and entitled. Little sly digs about how our ambition used to be to achieve 'glorious failure' and look forlornly across the road at our great neighbours. Mentions of 'the city fans expecting the quadruple' but that's now a distant memory due to being beaten 2-0 by Barcelona. I don't know a single city fan who 'expects' the quadruple.

They used a lot of negative words and example being that our players 'trudged' off at half time. There was also mention of 'that man demechelis' every time he touched the ball as though he gives away 5 penalties and 5 own goals a game.

I've also noticed an awful lot that the punditry is usually about what the opposition needs to do get something out of the game. Ways to 'get at' city (quote from today). Ways to get back in the game etc.

It's pathetic.

The atmosphere was shocking today, probably a bit of a hangover from Tuesday, but definitely cos we were playing a woeful team. Little to get excited about, shame Dzeko couldn't have settled it, that might have helped as in the end there was too much nervousness. A win was essential, the 3 points was the most important thing today. Ignore the commentary, you can always turn it off....

Trevor Francis saying with 3/4 minutes to go 10,000 City fans have left the stadium, they must all have appointments or have super confidence in the team. He said he would have never have left the stadium.

Also he said City fans sat around him don't think much of Dzeko, he said exactly the same during the City vs Crystal Palace game.

Don't know the name of the match commentator but he was totally negative about City all the game.

He was probably airing on the side of positive if it was only 10,000 he mentioned! If he said that about Dzeko, I'd guess he's sitting in 305.

Most TV Pundits are TOSSERS spouting an opinion on the game, just switch the sound off leaving YOUR opinion on the game to mull over:) Simple CTID

Very rarely do I watch our game with commentary. First thing I do is mute the fuckers. I can judge for myself whether we are playing well or not without the snide remarks.

Ah Malg, you've noticed the change in 305 from slagging Garcia and the ref then?
