As long as you haven't given them any money and won't until you get the puppy. I don't see why there was any problem in the first place.

The ad says that the puppy simply won't get on with their (exisiting) cat, and has got to go. It's had it's first innocultions, been wormed, etc, and on the face of it all seems to be pretty genuine.
I've emailed them, and asked if they can give me a ring, but had a reply saying:
Hiya puppy is still for sale, Im having slight problem with my phone so can only email.
Sent from my LG Mobile
Does this seem a bit odd to you lot, should I be alarmed by this and just walk away now?

I was right to be suspicious. I sent the girl an email asking the type of questions a serious buyer would be asking, and there was no reponse, then I noticed that her ad had been altered to say that a deposit of £50 would be needed to secure the animal, payable by Paypal, and needed before she'd even answer any questions. We walked away and I reported my concerns to the website, and it looks as though the ad has been taken down.
So, yesterday Mrs C. and I went up to Battersea Dogs Home, and without really meaning to we have ended up with a gorgeous 9 month old Staff/Beagle (? we think) cross, called Herman (we'll be changing that, possibly to Heston, suggestions welcome!). He's a little character, who has settled better than we could have hoped for. He is very well trained for his age, and walks ever so well on the lead. Happy days indeed.
