Thats what i thought, but your saying if drawn together in the champs league what exactly happens?

Champs league is European competition.. Dont think his other club is European.
I meant if they bought the rags & they were drawn against psg?

oops !! what a wally.

Good Luck to PSG. France need to get back into the elite of European football. Spain, England and Spain had too much of a monopoly and Wenger and co have poached most of the French talent.

Are these definately the same guys that wanted to buy the rags? Just because it's Qatar doesn't mean it's the same people.

Does anybody know?

It´s the same guys..

I might add that I´m willing to bet that it was "our" Sheikhs that recommended PSG..They had looked at the club before buying City and PSG had ties to Sheikh Mansours local club thru some youth academy earlier as well ; )

eh?

The Al-Thanis have huge influence in France. They own more of Paris than they do of London! PSG has been looked at for quite a long time, this acquisition is hardly a spur of the moment thing (which to a certain extent City was). I expect Wenger (or Guardiola!) to be contacted in the near future to help with the Parisian revolution.

Welcome back to the forums hbruz80.

Do you have any insight or thoughts on the alleged "differences" behind the scenes at present between Mancini and other senior management figures?

Yes, it's the same. The Qatar Investment Authority, the country's sovereign wealth fund.

Wonderful bit of business, this.

Good to see Paris back on the football map, but with FFP haven´t these guys missed the boat? It´s going to be a long term youth based project as they have missed out on CL again

Anelka to be their 1st signing then

And President Sarkozy is a PSG fan as well.
All in all a clever choice.
