Not much difference between 1-0 and 0-0.

Spurs would still have to come to us to score, they aren't keeping a clean sheet.

Of course there’s a difference. 2-1 is now not good enough and if we were 2-0 up next week with 10/15 to go we’d be shitting ourselves a lot more than if we drew 0-0 tonight!

Sane didn't need to be rested He hasn't started a game for weeks.

Pep could have every intention of starting him vs Palace and vs Spurs in the 2nd leg, so if that's the case then he didn't want to risk him tonight.

Tough to judge tonight, especially the subs until the next 2 games have played out.

I think with Bernardo picking up that slight problem, he has every intention of starting De Bruyne and Sane vs Palace.
