Heard from a few Blues that QPR have slashed the away price from £70 to £57. Is this for real?! I couldn't see a string for this on forum.

Cat A fixture or not, we're not all Car A income earners! Seriously thinking on giving up following City... the league and the future may be bright but my bank account won't be! Maybe I'm not loyal enough to get shafted by big clubs like QPR and just spitting dummy out...

1715hrs kick off,

I agree but we are going to have to get used to it. Once we became serious challengers to winning things we instantly became everybody elses gravy train.

Personally, I'd rather shell out to watch the Champions League games than throw £150 at going to watch us away against the likes of QPR et al.

Given what's going on in the wider world, i think quite a few people will end up prioritising which games they go to watch and it may be the away games that suffer.

Just heard that their owner has reduced all ticket prices, and supporters will be getting a refund on season tickets. Hopefully this will extend to away fans ticket prices.

In fairness to the new QPR Owner, Tony Fernandes, he has immediately recognised that their matchday prices were ridiculously high even by London standards. According to BBC Sport all QPR prices (home and away fans) have been reduced and their seasoncard holders will be getting refunds.
In addition, kids under 8 get in free in some parts of the ground.

Even though their ticket prices are still high, I think that Fernandes should be applauded.

Looking at the info on the QPR official site the upper tier away seats are classed as "Gold" seats(!) and will be £55 for the top category and with 1,700 seats in there that's all the club are likely to take up.

If this is right not everyone (including me) will be able to go. We not all made out of money. If they were even going to consider this , it is ridiculous. Would love to go but for that price just couldn't :(

Bolton paid £57 at CatB the other week. I don't think even CatA tickets were goig to be £70, more like £63.

Assume we are Cat A - after price reduction announced today cheapest Cat A will be £45 according to news on Talksport

Like everything in life there is a choice. Dont like, Dont go.

I wont be going to any other than Blackburn and Wigan.

We have enough London based support to sell 1700 tickets at QPR.

Fulham away last year was full of fans who were London based blues. I got talking to three lads who were based in Portsmouth and only went to the odd home game but all south based aways.

When I lived in London in the 80's we had a solid support then. I can only imagine its greater now

Bolton was £50 upper and £45 lower if they were to take any - now they are £5 cheaper.

Ours will be £55 upper, and £50 lower unless were get what looks like new temp seating in the corners as well which are £45.

I doubt we will take more than the £55 ones though.
