Another professional performance is required as we know there is no room for error. Other than Vinnie and Pants, it should be same team that played Stoke.

we'l be ok here 1-3 the shock of the midweek fixtures is fulham taking 3 points off the reds, fingers crosed

That would defnitely be a shock seeing they're playing Southampton ;)

1-3 City

hehe ....

you just beat me to it ....

i was gonna say that if Fulham take three points of anyone in midweek , it would be West Ham ... and NOT the rags !

I'm quite concerned about Tuesday's game and the game v Liverpool, as I can see us dropping points against both teams.

Look...I know its winter, but I wish you'd grow some balls..

Sorry folks, always the pessimist and never the optimist, I use it as reverse psychology, so if we lose it isn't so gut wrenching but when we win the elation is amazing !, try it, I promise you won't be disappointed, or will you ?.

Yes but no but, sometimes it can work against you and I guess the crowd dynamic, we are far better than most of us realise in fact we are a bloody good team, we should not be down on ourselves we are slaying many a dragon as the weeks roll on, we even won at Stoke!

We're playing good football now, the train has started to roll and we'll be difficult to stop now, wobble chops will put a shite team out focusing on the games they can win.

2 - 3

We're looking strong and determined; a real sense of professional focus. We just need our forwards to be on form and take their chances when presented.

Nice of 'arry to do our team talk for us. "I couldn't manage City with all those egos" Has the saggy faced old twat forgot that last year he said anyone could manage us.

Ha ha lionheart I know, my wife has had to hide all sharp implements and such like and she refuses to drive by any cliffs today !. I don't like being downcast but you just know what city are like (even the current breed).
You mean the current breed that's won eight out of the last nine games and all of the last five aways?

I'm afraid some of our supporters haven't become acclimatised to supporting a winning team. Not having a go, but to say that the current crop are anything but reliable (as much as that is possible in team sport) is frankly, comical.

With this not been on the telly I'm not sure what to do.

a. Have a media blackout and watch football first at 10.15
b. Find a local boozer with the game on.
c. Follow it on radio.
d. God forbid follow it on the Blue Moon forum (We could be winning 5 nil and the some posters will be slagging of x,y and z player)

Mmmm What to do

Not necessarily GDM, it wasn't so long ago people were berating Mancini and the team for poor displays etc. I've been a city fan for over 30 years and season ticket holder for 15 of them, so I guess I do have that air of "oh shit its city and yes we can fuck anything up at any given moment", but that's just me. I'm not being comical or anything of the sort, I'm just being a cautious city fan, sorry. I'm not confident at all about the next two games, because QPR need the points, are at home and were shit yesterday (so they will want to put that right, and what bigger scalp could they have) and Liverpool are a good side and will be a real threat on the break. One thing I'll never do though, is slag the manager, team or individual players off after a defeat, unlike some do. Two draws for me in these next games.

Hart-Zab-Lescott-Nasty-Clichy-Barry-Garcia-Milner-Silva-Aguero-Dzeko.

Creative when we have the ball, hardworking and tough to break down (hopefully) when we don't. Will be happy with a 1-0 victory.

As I said, not having a go, and you don't need to show me your stripes, mate - I'd have pointed it out if I'd thought otherwise ;-)

City fans have always fallen into two broad camps of eternal pessimists and blind optimists and I was always in the latter camp - except when Pearce was manager! Before the takeover to be so disposed was about suspending logic and allowing emotion to rule you. I would say since the takeover the opposite is true and those that always expect the worst are usually wrong. Not that there's anything necessarily wrong with being cautious - as sport will always let you down eventually, but I rarely go in to any game expecting anything other than a win- and I'm usually right.

On that basis, I predict a win on Tuesday followed by another win v Liverpool.
