I’ve not decided what kind of spree I’m going to partake in on Monday yet, given that there will be bigger all coppers in Manchester.

Oh dear. People's funerals on Monday being cancelled for the Queen's funeral...
 
The flight flew over west of Glossop tracked it went in the back garden shown the plane to my two girls as it flew over, a bit surreal really mad to think. Just said to them there’s a big part of history flying over us.

Well, I can only speak from personal experience. Up here, existing funerals booked for the Monday are being honoured, should the families wish to go ahead.

My wife is taking one on the Monday morning and they want to go ahead with it, so it‘s happening.

No new ones are being added for that day, but anyone who dies now, it’d be too soon to book next Monday anyway.

P.S. It was my idea to bring my gran home to watch the funeral with us, but my wife won’t be here and we’ve had a sink hole appear out front, so we can’t currently wheel my gran in.

It does show two things, how disingenuous some people are that are propagating the rumour, or how so far into social media they have lost the ability to think for themselves.

What I can’t say is if vicars round the rest of the country are honouring funerals on Monday, they will also be dependent on Crems and Funeral Directors also being open.

My guess is that some will go ahead, but all 3 of those bits need to stay open for it to happen.

Also, some families would accept a change of date for free if they were going to miss the Queen’s funeral too.
