We have lived in an odd world since 2016People cheering and whooping a coffin going past is a bit odd to me. We live in a strange world nowadays.
Judging by the number of people en route tonight, London is going to be full on Monday. Can only imagine how many people are going to show up.
I had an appointment booked in central London early on Tuesday morning which I've had to put off until the following day because there is no way I'm travelling on Tuesday now. It's going to be absolute mayhem.People cheering and whooping a coffin going past is a bit odd to me. We live in a strange world nowadays.

Why would it be mayhem going to London on Tuesday?I had an appointment booked in central London early on Tuesday morning which I've had to put off until the following day because there is no way I'm travelling on Tuesday now. It's going to be absolute mayhem.
I was thinking something similar the other day, albeit I dated it earlier to 2001. Keep hoping that the world will someday get back on an even keel, but with each passing year, I know it probably won't.We have lived in an odd world since 2016
I wanted to tick like but it looked cruel... so how are you going to get your Gran in? Could you borrow someone else's house or could you get a friend/neighbour to help you carry her through somehow? Good luck. :-)Well, I can only speak from personal experience. Up here, existing funerals booked for the Monday are being honoured, should the families wish to go ahead.
My wife is taking one on the Monday morning and they want to go ahead with it, so it‘s happening.
No new ones are being added for that day, but anyone who dies now, it’d be too soon to book next Monday anyway.
P.S. It was my idea to bring my gran home to watch the funeral with us, but my wife won’t be here and we’ve had a sink hole appear out front, so we can’t currently wheel my gran in.
Life, hey?

We’re hoping it will be fixed by then, but if not, short of a fireman’s lift, we will have to watch it either elsewhere or separately.I wanted to tick like but it looked cruel... so how are you going to get your Gran in? There are steep steps, so it’d be tough. Can’t you go through the back door?
That's what got Andrew into trouble...Can’t you go through the back door?
Getting irritated at Joe Public going on about being a historical moment, " I thought I should come because it's history in the making". Dickheads ! Not arsed about the Queen, all about, " I was there". Fookin clowns.People cheering and whooping a coffin going past is a bit odd to me. We live in a strange world nowadays.

Not overly surprising. You get paid more for standing out on Tik Tok than being a brain surgeon these days.Getting irritated at Joe Public going on about being a historical moment, " I thought I should come because it's history in the making". You have my sympathy. What possible excuse can they give ? Part-time c***s.My poor old Mom has been living in agony with her back for months now. She hasn't slept properly in all that time and it's really affecting her general health and state of mind.
She's just called me in tears because her appointment on Monday for an injection (a nerve root block) has been cancelled.
I hope they don’t shoot her into space like some of them should have beenShe is about to be moved on a gun carriage with sons and grandsons walking behind , triggering for wills and harry i am sure
