[I'm no cynic but...]

A warning to supporters who motor to the Etihad along Queens Road, between Rochdale Road and Oldham Road. Major roadwork began there yesterday and will last for eight weeks. It is a right ball ache at the best of times, but this morning during rush hour it was carnage. It isn't likely to be any better on match days, and I would strongly advise supporters who use this route to find an alternative or at least to allow substantial additional journey time.
