Question Time

Of course immigration affects those things, how doesn’t it?
more people in an area, which can mean more demand for housing and push prices up. It’s happening in Manchester right now.

School classes near me have grown in size because of immigration, where my sister teaches and some schools are oversubscribed now, meaning kids can’t get places in the school of choice and the quality of learning/ teaching lowered because the class is too big.

I didn’t know you can only have concerns if you live in an effected area like London. The numbers released yesterday are ridiculous. The majority of people in this country think immigration is too high as does Kier Starmer.

Seeing as you’ve followed the issue for years. Do you think 700,000 + people every year is sustainable?
Problems with housing supply, school places in some locations etc can’t be laid at the door of migration into the U.K. It’s multilayered, complex. Death rate is now higher than birth rate, some locations thrive, some are rotting. Migration within the U.K. and the factors behind that is the issue which really needs to be understood.

Really enjoyed farage’s in-depth analysis and his sheer political knowledge and skill in his review of brexit.
Oh, wait a minute ……..all he did was shout ‘move on’ a few times.
Didn’t really expect any more than that from the chief brexit protagonist.
He's always the same. He can't give a single reasoned answer to how brexit, which he championed, has been a benefit to the UK. He just mutters to himself and shakes his head when hard facts are put before him.

What really grinds my gears about him is his populism. He's achieved it by using tried and trusted methods, well known for decades, and it's a trojan horse for what he really wants.

He's a wealthy free market capialst that desires an American style healthcare system for the UK, and wants to remove all our protections of consumer, environmental and employee rights.

He's backed up on those thoughts by Ricahard Tice, a similarly argumentative, wealthy, privately educated and angry individual, and just why reform followers can't see they are like Turkeys voting for Christmas is one of lifes mysteries.

Farage earned £40,000 last year from a company advising wealthy individuals on ways to obtain foreign passports so they could escape paying tax in their country of domicle.

That's his motivation. Keeping as much money in his pocket as possible, and bugger the consequences.

He couldn't give a shit about anyone other than himself, but he's found a way of appealing to those that would be far worse off by backing him, and hats off to him with regard to that. He's been very successful pulling the wool over their eyes

Farage shouting over campbell saying to forget about brexit because it was 9 years ago - we're living with the consequences of it now (and will continue to do so) you silly old dickhead. Something that he conned so many people into thinking would be good for them/our country and it's turned out as many expected to be a complete load of bollocks

Unfortunately the same gullible morons (of which there are many) will continue to fall for similar bullshit from the same conman. And all of us will have to deal with the consequences (again)

If Farage doesn’t scare them, Tice and 30p certainly should
