their last record sucked, but Accelerate is up there with their best work imo.

Pearcy, no mate, I won't be going this time. Went last time, and thought the sound was dreadfull. Then again, I don't think REM's music is really suited to big arenas, especially open air ones.
Hope you enjoy it though, and yes, Accelerate is best thing they have done since Green to my ears.

I went to the last one there pearcey, mainly to watch the support bands, feeder were awesome. REM were good, but I just got pissed with his constant verbal diarreoah about the war etc.
 
I'll be there, hopefully REM should be great as always. pissed off that sky messed with the west ham game which means i will probably miss the editors now who were brilliant at the apollo earlier this year.
not sure how many tickets have been sold for lancs though, they only sold 15k for the millenium stadium and have moved it to the cardiff arena.
