RIP Harry Dowd

Can't see another thread on the forum, but mods please merge if I've missed it. The club's official Twitter feed has announced the death of former goalkeeper Harry Dowd:

Manchester City FC @MCFC · 23m 23 minutes ago

MCFC sends sincere condolences to the friends and family of former City goalkeeper Harry Dowd, who has passed away aged 76

Of course, Harry was in goal for City in the 1969 FA Cup final win over Leicester.

RIP.

City goalkeeper and City goalscorer

Played his part in the golden era of the late 1960s, and will always be fondly remembered

Re: RIP Harry Dowd

Always fondly remember Joe Mercer telling the tale that Harry would have no idea as to who City would be playing as he enjoyed his plumbing work far more.
RIP Harry and nice that you were involved in our successful years way back.

My Dad was a kid when Harry Dowd played in nets for City but he ended up getting to know him years later (from about the mid 1990s), he'll be gutted to hear this!

Harry's wife, Rita, only died a couple of years ago too.

Really sad news, used to hand him chewing gum before the match when I was a kid. Great goalkeeper who was at his happiest doing what he loved best, plumbing! RIP Harry.
