I have done, but would like somebody with more influence to follow it up. I'm not the type who would do this as I'm one to remain in the background being a shy type.

Dear Danny,

I'd like to draw your attention to the following post on blue moon; and in particular the text in bold. I don't normally do this kind of thing, but as I suggested it on Blue Moon, I feel obliged to raise the idea with the club.

What a great tribute it would be to replace the 'superman' banner with such a testament to a TRUE City Legend.

Thanks for taking the time to read this email and I look forward to receiving your thoughts.

Regards
Levets

what a great tribute that would be if it was a banner in the place of the old 'superman' banner

What a Great Idea
Hi levets,
Steve isn't it?
anyway, I've spoken to Dan a couple of times this week over other matters but have just emailed him with the banner idea- can't say I have influence but Dan has done a lot for me and London Blues over the last couple of years so we shall see.
Tony

I'll let you know if I get any response... assume you will do likewise.

cheers

One of my all time heroes who signed at the time I began watching the club. So very sad! RIP Nelly

r i p .nelly,as a kid watching telly 69 was my first memory .my old man was there cock, never forgive him for not taking me as a snotty nose 6yr old to watch that SWEET LEFT FOOT at wembley 69 that day.RIP NELLY.

Bit late with this, not had internet for four days, sorry

Rip Neil. I will never forget you and the memories you have left for me. Legend.

As an 9 yr old I can remember thinking there's no way United won't beat Sunderland at home and City will win away at Newcastle.

But it did happen. And City won the league with the help of 2 goals from Young, and I heard all about them on the radio.

At 6 o'clock I went to the shop to buy the Pink and my mum gave me money for chocolate and bonus sixpenny toys for me and my brother and sister.

And when my dad got back from Newcastle late on it was lemonade, crisps and sweets all round.

It's hard to believe Nelly is dead.

Banner is looking good !

Hi Tony

Good to hear from you. I hope you are well.

I've just spoken to 'Levets' from Bluemoon.

I'm going to pick this up with a couple of colleagues on Monday.

Cheers

Dan
