I read somewhere that there are places in America where the life expectancy of a black youth actually goes up if they are given a death penalty sentence.

Whatever the reasons for that are, it's a pretty shocking statistic.

Irrespective of racial origins, the death penalty can never be justified for anyone.

But the fact that it is used with far more frequency for non-whites is indicative of a deep malaise within that society.

Now that is the white people dividing and ruling
Fucking Obama the wanker

The US really hasn't kicked its habit yet. I remember feeling very proud to be British when I heard Dotun Adebayo stating on his show (Up All Night, Radio 5 Live) how glad he was to be British. He was relating an experience he had had in New York state when a policeman had harassed him and threatened to lock him up if he didn't leave town and Dotun was able to show him his passport, at which point the policeman's attitude completely changed.

The very fact that Dotun Adebayo has a show on a national radio station makes me not proud to be British. His show is absolute dross.

Ridiculous article. Don't you all feel so smug.

That is true but it's not exactly a ringing endorsement is it?
