It's funny because this young guy and his friends start racially abusing a much older white man, which results in the white man fearing for his safety and moving away.

The young guy walks towards the old man and proceeds to punch him (after the older white guy does threaten physical violence)

Good this, its on the thread by that lad who felt like he wants to fight someone too. That older guy is hard as nails in my eyes. He would have felt intimidated with a younger, (much younger), guy approaching him that way. No substitute for life experience though.

A few national newspapers over here have picked up the story but i don't think anyone has been charged with anything yet.

Apparently the white guy asked the black kid for his shoes to be shined - this isn't racist but the black kid seemed to think it was.

I've always known the "shoe-shine" remark as a putdown with regards to class, as in a upperclass person would say to the poor person: shine my shoes...

Whats bad about it? most national newspapers are showing the video, its a big debate right now across the pond... its a relevant current issue.

I just read the back of that guy's shirt. 'I AM A MOTHERFUCKER'. God that was hilarious. It just looks fake really, and it was rather adequately filmed at the same time. It's just like the boy in the balloon, on a lesser scale.
