If we hadn't lost to Stoke he wouldn't be describing our signings as a joke. Our signing have been good, each has been an improvement on what we already have. We could have brought in more players or higher profile players but the ones we have signed are good.
As for Tottenham signing back all their old players; its not exactly like they were setting the world alight when they had these players the first time round is it?

The way they work themselves up into a frenzy each weekend over sacking Benitez, Kinnear or the next manager of the latest crisis club is pathetic
