Sorry to say it, but Blootoof is correct. Lots of City fans use London and Luton airports too, cos Manchester is such a ridiculously expensive airport to fly in and out of.

Case in point, when I come home from Dubai, a flight to Manchester is always at least 150 quid more than to Heathrow. So I always go to London first and make my own way back up north. Economies of scale etc etc yawn snore.
