In all seriousness though, i'm afraid that in a straight choice between us and United I think players will chose them over us for some time yet. I REALLY want Schneijder here, but if its between us and them I think he will go to them, especially if they win the league again.

Maybe they can use their prize winnings from the FA Cup to finance the difference between what they are offering and what Udinese want. Oh wait.

I think Chelsea or Real Madrid are more realistic challenges.

Bunch of sad fuckers, they have a thread about who we are going to buy if/ when we get C/L football.

The most common answer is that we will go after any player linked with the Rags or just buy loads of forwards. They have no concept at all of what we are trying to achieve.

Of the players we have bought in the last 18 months, which in reality could have gone to them instead?

I do believe they have money to spend but certainly not at the levels that our signings have cost. if you listen to them you would think that we have signed 10 players who have all smashed the British transfer record.

EDIT: Found it....what a stupid suggestiongs they have. They suggest that we are going for an RB..because "Zabaleta is not good enough". Do they know anything about football?
