Don't let facts get in the way of the hate which Sterling is continually subjected to on Bluemoon.
It's really fucking weird, I get the criticisms of him, I agree with many of them, he can be frustrating but ffs the stick he gets from some is just absurd.

I think he's a victim of Pep tbh.
He's looked very, very good when we play the 4-1-4-1(with Silva or Kev essentially deep), but when we switch to anything but that formation, the space congests and it completely nullfies him.
I'm hoping next season Pep gets the formation right and stops tinkering, because it is definitely affecting some players form, namely Raheem & KDB.

Deluded mate, for two years he has done no wrong in your eyes. Bottle job in big games simple as that. Lets look at it this way then, he has had a fantastic season in your eyes, pulled us through these big games, we decide to sell him tomorrow then 1. what level of club would want him 2. would we get anywhere near the 50mil we paid for him.

There's a theme mate. If you look hard enough there's a commonality between the posters who've got some weird hard on for Sterling. They're almost transparent now in whatever thread they post in.

You claim you sit on the fence with him yet the slightest negative comment and bam you are there, putting down anyone who might say anything bad. I said it looks like its another "next year" case when it comes to discussing him as he hasn't yet become this world class player many predicted he would under Pep. I also stated the stats don't speak of his performances which for me they don't. His stats aren't the issue nor was they that bad last year. The issue is for me watching him he is still struggling to beat a man and still lacking a massive amount of composure. As I say we sold him tomorrow we would get 30 Mill tops from a team like Everton.

I don't need to try hard to guess which "Tom" from Bluemoon you're talking about. This thread really has been my handy guide to 16/17's biggest forum bellends and has helpled populate my ignore list.

And it's not the slightest negative comment that I respond to, it's people writing him off and failing to acknowledge any of the positive contribution he has made.
