Sane gives me a lot more confidence that he can win a game. Sterling is good, but think we could upgrade on him if the right player is available

Sane is a better player than Sterling, he just has more to his game. It doesn't mean Sterling cant do a job but Sane will reach a level that Sterling wont get anywhere near.

I claimed this last week, but was tried to be shot down for it,as I said last week,he's our most potent threat from a wide position, and again as shown last night, can put a tackle in AND score goals, far better in my opinion also, far better

i dont agree. sterling is very underrated. sane can play shit and he barely gets criticized, sterling plays bad and hes our worst player... sterlings stats are some of the best in europe. i think they can both be top class though.

Really? Because Sterling won the ball a heck of a lot more times than Sane did last night, goal doesn't happen with out him either. Sane will go further in his career but Sterling will still reach a high level despite his deficiencies.

I agree that Sterling has to take care improving several aspects of his game. Of course he will be compared to Sané and Gabriel.

Sané is flighing through the lines because he has control of the ball at high pace AND he is determined to act.

I think Sterling is aware of the lack of his ball control and thus isn't going behind the defender often enough.
He has to improve his technical ability. I hope he isn't too proud to watch and copy Sané or Sergio in any training session.

Mentally he has to be more confident, more aggressive, sharper. As a personality. Right now it seems he wants to avoid making mistakes, but that way he can't make pressure on a defender. I would recommend Raz to work with a good personal coach on mental aspects of his game to become the self-confident winger you have to be on that level.

I wouldnt worry about it, Sterling has somehow become untouchable on here. We are no longer allowed to critique him without a barrage of abuse. Its odd because we are allowed to be critical of Silva, Yaya even Aguero, despite everything they have done for this club but Sterling is very much a no-go zone.

It depends who you are asking. I think the average England fan underrates him but the average City fan overrates him. I think Sterlings ability is somewhere in between. I think he will go on to be a very good Prem player but I dont think he will get anywhere near the world-class status a lot of our fans think he will.

I think Sterling has been heavily overrated in his career so far. He was never as good as the hype he got at Liverpool from everyone, he's never been as bad as the stick he's got at City and then I don't think he's ever been as good as the hype he's got when he's had reasonably good or very good games from City fans. He's just a decent enough, inconsistent player with huge flaws and that's it.

He plays like a fairy mate,if you have ever played the game you will know what you are taught about getting stuck in,otherwise you'll end up getting hurt more,Sterling has the athleticism to jump over potential crunching tackles, but a typical wing player,if up against a nasty full back who flies in,the game is non existent, and the only hope in certain games is to switch wings,to see if there any better hope on the other side
