Great game, end result needs improving but his overall contribution is massive. His manager knows it :-)
Didn’t play his best today, but one thing is for sure he is always a fucking menace for opposition defenses.
Once he finds his shooting boots the sky is the limit for him.
At least there is the odd voice in the media that sees beyond the bullshit...
people have been saying he needs to do better in front of goal and to improve his finishing since the dawn of time... He is pitiful in front of goal (as we have seen in the World Cup) unless of course he's in a majestic City team feeding him tap in after tap in. Quite rightly he gets a lot of shit for it from non City fans.
The love in for him on here is excessive. As is the witch hunt against @tommcfc just because he's not scared to give his opinion even though he knows others will not like it.
The rest of his game is very good. He's a decent player. I'm sure he's a very nice lad. The press witch hunt is totally uncalled for.
One of the mods stated not long after he came that he thinks Sterling will turn out to be our all time top scorer which imo is absolute horse shit and typical of the blue tinted views that you see every day on here.
I like it when he plays well. I like it when he scores. But I think to describe him as being shit at finishing is not an exaggeration.

I do concede that he made a vast improvement last season compared to the one before and I hope more improvement comes next season too.He has improved significantly in the past 12 months.
I'd say it's possible. Nearly 50 already and I'd expect 20+ a season. Can he go for another 7/8 years with us? Time will tell.

No but he should of buried it and that's what he has to do, not just for England but for City in this coming season, or else he will find himself behind Mahrez. He had one chance which was unlucky & there was nothing wrong with what he tried to do.
