You think he "should have" a 100% conversion rate? That's not just what he's there to do. You are getting confused with Kane.
Where did I mention he should convert all his chances, but after the season Raheem has had we us, I think its fair to say he should of scored or at least make the keeper make a save, he did neither and in this current season he has to improve his scoring technique. Im only interested in City players so no im not getting confused with Kane.

The keeper did make a save thats why he didnt score in fact the keeper did really well

And for all those saying he is a shit finisher just think he scored 23 goals last season 18 in the premier league!!!!

In France, Raheem have some critics because he failed 2 big chance to score vs Sweden. That's disgusting, it's the only one who create some space to Harry Kane.

Sorry if this new video had already been posted:

I think this is brilliant. It has been whatsapped to my Dad's idiot friends (Sheffield United, Middlesbrough, Leicester), Posted to Facebook, and is at the ready for my pals who support other sides.

My best mate is a Tranmere supporter... who also supports the red dippers... whatever that says. I usually get the "GET HIM OFF" text once a match... this is going straight to him.

The video itself is great for calmly and concisely articulating stats in just the right way to counterpoint the sheep.

With the chances our team create (and when you look at other teams who make as many chances as we do and how many their forwards score, like Barcelona) all our front players should have scored more than they did last season.

Sterling should really have had about another eight goals last season than he did, he had the opportunities to.

With another year under his belt I am expecting 30 goals from Sterling next season and I’d be disappointed if he didn’t get that.

Probably been said already, but a fine defence of Raz by Eric Dier in the pre-Croatia press conference. The players get it, the manager gets it, even some of the pundits are now getting it.
Only non-City supporting England fans seem to be too dim to get it.

Aint that the truth - I have had a on-going run in with some fucking bellend on FB who posted a pure load of bollocks and his argument was totally born from his hatred of the player and his hate for City

Sterling's movement and workrate is absolutely world class. I've seen very few players who are capable of getting into the right positions at the right times as often as he does and he never gives up, as his numerous clutch goals this season can attest to. If there is a dangerous run to be made he is making it, no matter how tired he must be, he is always trying to make something happen.

Having said that his finishing is somewhere between poor and average. It isn't as bad as the rag media make out but you also can't ignore the elephant in the room. Most of us, if we are honest feel trepidation when sterling gets in a good position and has time to think. You can almost smell his fear when he finds himself in those position.

I love sterling and I hate how the media vilifies and antagonises him but there's a small part of me that feels like he is going to mess it up at just the wrong time, like a champs league final. It remind me of Mario Gomez. Complerely different style of player but Gomez had a phenomenal scoring record for Bayern in the early 2010s but everyone knew he had a reputation for missing sitters. Well he missed half a dozen sitters at just the wrong time in the 2012 champions league final and we all know how that worked out for Bayern (Robben also missed a penalty so I guess you could argue it just wasn't there day, but I digress). And just look at Loris Karius is this champions league final. He had been looking pretty solid in the last 6 months and then he goes and costs his team a champs league final.

Big matches, with all the pressure and hype around them have a way of exposing players weaknesses and I just have this deep down fear, maybe from all the media brainwashing, that Sterling will one day cost us a champions league final or something similar. We had a warning of a similar thing against united this year when he fluffed his lines and we paid for it.

It's such a horrible thing to say about a player who scored so many important goals for us this season and probably saved more points off his own boot than anyone else on the team but I always catch myself wondering...can we find better for his position? Even after this past season I just continue to have this lingering doubt whether he is the real deal or whether peps system has papered over some of the cracks in his game. I just don't want him to melt down on the biggest stage.

Having said that, I honestly hope Sterling puts a last minute winner past Hugo Lloris in the final to bring it home, and stick it up them rag and Scouser arses.

Sterling, quite rightly, got good reviews tonight all round and I looked at the BBC ratings after he came off which showed him at 6.80 which is OK. I have just looked again about an hour later and he has been reduced to 5.79 even though he has not been on the pitch......you just gotta laugh.

Huge mistake to take him off tonight. Kane did nothing and his lack of movement was evident as Croatia built up. Fact is though England do not have a chance when we rely on Henderson to pick a final pass. Roll on 2020 when Phil Foden could very well make his mark. Raheem caused them a whole world of worry and should have stayed on.

Saved me the trouble of typing this out. Agree with every word.

Take a bow Raheem !

He was good. Just need an assist or goal but he was so threatening today. Those runs he made always keeping the defenders on their toes. He was the furthest forward in the first half. Always waiting to be an outlet with his speed and positioning.

When he went off, all the momentum left. Proud of Raheem.

I don’t see why Foden and Sancho should not be called up now for the next tournament.

Absolutely gutted to see England out tonight but it showed how good raheem is. As soon as he went off the threat went and I think all the media and the sheep who followed the ****s are actually catching on. Well played tonight raheem!
