Matty Cash as far has been their best fullback this season yet Cancelo and Foden got past him about 5 times each. Dont think Sterling beat his man once all night, really dreadful performance.

Well that was fucking woeful from him.

Seriously, how long do we persist? There’s an argument that he has been out of form for longer than Mahrez. He is not a good footballer and he is basically zero threat to the opposition. Rocking up with a free-kick to score the 4th in a 4-0 win, despite what some on here said, does not mean he is back.

He bought himself a lot of goodwill with excellent 17/18 and 18/19 seasons and people forgave his poor performances last season because you couldn’t argue with his goal return. The goodwill is fading extremely fast with his turd performances and lack of goal threat.
We've become seriously spoilt as a fan base.

He isn't having the best of seasons but he's still our joint top scorer. You cannot compare his impact even during this difficult period to that of Mahrez. Sterling works his socks off both defensively and offensively and still makes space for others even when things aren't going well.

I think he could do with a bit of a break but to ask how long we persist, to say he is not a good footballer and is zero threat to the opposition is ridiculously over the top.

He will be vital to us between now and the end of the season.

Isn't bringing much to the team at the moment. Not sure why he is lacking in confidence after the goal he scored the other day but you could see when he first try to beat the Villa left back and he couldn't get round him, you knew he was never going to beat him on a one on one the whole match.
