#7 | Raheem Sterling - 2020/21 Performances

Need to see him back to RW and let Cancelo play LWB, who is impressing more and more as time goes on.

Him stopping in the box and having a think for 4 seconds whilst standing still before being crowded out and wasting a glorious chance is starting to become seriously irritating. Pep needs to get him less involved in the build up and get the ball to him further up the pitch where he only has one option and no time to contemplate how to mess it up.

He also needs to play on the right. when was the last time he genuinely played well from the left? Even when he was banging in a goal or two every game he wasn’t overly good out there but his output made his overall performances unimportant. Cancelo is more of a threat going forward from that side than sterling at the moment which says it all. Didn’t run at Milner once when he came on, a Sane in that situation would have had him on toast.

Unless a chance is laid on a plate for him for a tap in he largely adds zero goal threat up front.

He can't even seem to dribble the ball anymore as he get's his own legs all tangled up.

His first touch is also terrible.

For someone reportedly wanting £300k to £350k a week we should expect much, much better.

Plays like his feets tied together most of the time. Unreliable and that's being kind.

You seemed to have transferred your irk, jesus could not kick it , head it, was slow and shouldn't be anywhere near the team. Now it is Sterling, , who today had a poor second half, but according to you plays with his feet tied together. So that is most of our forward line , who in fact score 100 goals a season, you are a star.

Any forward worth his salt would thrive in our forward line and should score plenty. He's a winger first and foremost who seems to have lost all ability to take on and beat his man . We have managed 10 goals in 7 league games so far, not good enough on any level.

This is the thing, he takes lots touches in the box. I wouldn't mind(as much) if he could actually control a ball and get a shot away but it inevitably results in him losing the ball
