Dont know why this was bumped and why he stlll gets abuse, let it go now
Add on the important part he played in the Villa comeback game.
That brilliant cross for the first goal deserves the same praise as Zinchenko and KDB set ups on that day.
IMHO he does not get that from all on here.
imo he was loads better in 21/22 than he was in 20/21.He was great for us until that last season, he just went completely off the boil and his finishing which was always hit or miss deserted him totally.
Leroy at his best was more exciting to watch than Sterling.Same with Leroy Sane
Last season, he was our second highest with 17.Chelsea’s top scorer now with 9 goals. Reaching dizzying heights here.

How have Chelsea fans taken to him?You scored how many goals as a team last season? Sterling’s 9 goals in all comps probably makes up 60% of all the teams goals in all comps this season :)
Not in a million years.Would anyone have him back?
The ones I know haven’t….How have Chelsea fans taken to him?
It was only in his third season with us, his second under Guardiola, that his production really improved, both in terms of assists and goals. Question is whether he has the years left in his legs and motivation in his heart, or whether indeed Chelsea fans have sufficient patience to wait for him to come good. I’m not convinced that either will be the case. The ones I know haven’t….
What do you mean by his approach?Leroy at his best was more exciting to watch than Sterling.
He could’ve been a truly outstanding player if his approach was better.
Neither have improved since their moves but I get the impression neither will be bothered.
Sounds like a summary of any attacking football players game tbfA Sterling day I believe, a good finish a deflection and a sitter missed.
9 goals..reminds me of the 9,000 fans you had supporting you at the bridge,1988,When we beat you 3-1,....Chelsea’s top scorer now with 9 goals. Reaching dizzying heights here.
