Just don't want the barca boys to hook up their mate Laporta with an incredibly favourable deal, get at least 40 you pricks.

If it happens next summer, then Sterling will have same duration left as Sane did, so anything between £40-£50m would be about the benchmark.

We would also be removing £300k a week wages, which would go a very long way.

Yeah moving raheem's wage on is good business, I just dont want to see a fee in the 20-25 range because the club of their heart can't afford anything higher.

Exactly the right response from Pep, telling Sterling to do his talking on the pitch.

He's had ample opportunity and it's really not about playing time, as his people are busy trying to spin it.

He wants to leave and has for a while.
This and of course the Rag Stone sensationalising the headline with a non quote (why have we not banned this Rag for the Ground yet).
Sterling has had more than enough chances and not taken them, most of us sigh when we see him on the starting team sheet so if we can get a decent fee and move him on then it will be a thank you, good luck from most of us to him

If we get our original outlay back, it would be one of the best bits of business City has done.

Oh come on. I know you like to bang your drum and talk in hyperbole but getting Ben White money for arguably our best goalscorer isn't amongst the best business we've ever done.

If we get that figure for him then it's because his contract is running out and we didn't sell/ replace sooner. The best outcome will be making the most of a bad situation. No need to dress it up as a win on our part.

Sterling, Mahrez, Jesus, Gundogan contracts all end summer 23. Seems like sterling is gone, but I doubt we'll want to lose 3 wingers in 1 summer next year so a bit of a dicey situation. If sterling is gone, I could see Mahrez being allowed to run down his deal so its pushed to the following summer and try to renew Gabriel. If he won't renew we could be in the position of having to sell both he and sterling next summer.

You'd think Gundo would start renewing on 1 year deals at the end of his current but who knows.

And this assumes we convince bernardo to stay.
