The chairman said it though, if they don’t see the right player they have a lot of trust in Pep to find a solution and wait for the right player. He hasn’t let us down.We will see after the England games... Hopefully City are ready to be fast if he wants to go... We've seen they are lacking with moving for crucial replacements at times (Vinnie and Aguero)

Of course, he could be replaced by a left winger and shift Foden or Grealish, he could be replaced by somebody like Felix and use full backs for width. With Pep the possibilities are endless , or as you say he stays, which is why I have no worries at all. I’m just looking forward to see how we line up and play next season.I think City will push for him to stay. If he leaves we’ll replace him, not always like for like. Pep likes players who can play across the front 3 as Sterling has. So maybe he’s replaced by a left winger not a right winger.

I doubt he enjoyed our minimal squad, no striker this season. Could be wrong but he was pissed at the start of the season because of this.Is it unwanted , think he thrives on it myself.
Against the lesser teams he will be missed but in the games against the top sides I don't think we will miss him at all.

Txiki didn't deliberately not buy a striker last summer to piss of Pep. The two would have spoken and if Kane's not on the table they would have said let's go with what we have.
If Pep has potentially one downfall it's that if he can't get the top target he will just go out without. Either to prove a point he can make it work or just stubbornness. He would rather have no one then sign someone else.
I like his attitude, it means that we don't end up with Scott Sinclair signings, I think our recruitment has been excellent the last 5 years, I was disappointed last summer as I really trusted in us replacing Kun, that failure to address that I believe is what has made us so focused this yearBollocks.
