The other 2 reliable said he was willing to stay and fight for a place and extend if he gets one, safe to say no one knows anything atm.
Is it? It's pretty well established that Pol gets his info pretty directly from Pep's entourage so I'm inclined to believe him.

the times article itself says the same thing..

Raheem Sterling would consider a loan move to Barcelona should he fail to break back into the Manchester City team by January.

The Times reported on Thursday that Xavi Hernández, who replaced Ronald Koeman as manager this month, wants to sign a wide attacking player and Sterling is one of three they will target when the transfer window opens.

While Sterling is committed to winning back his place in the team and extending his stay at the Etihad, the 26-year-old wants first-team football after falling down the pecking order under Pep Guardiola.

If he gets in and plays he stays, if he doesnt he'll prob think of the move.

With the fixture crunch, and Mahrez of to the AFCON i think he prob gets a decent run at RW over xmas, time to see how he does.

Clubs arranging transfer fees to help themselves is not evidence of an owner injecting money into his club by privately paying other clubs secretly to get more money into Chelsea. How would it even work? How's this Abramovic money getting to the other football club? Or is your theory he's bribing executives at top clubs round the world to make their clubs overpay?

Apart from that, why the fuck would he even do it? He's got enough billionaire friends with businesses he could slip money or a mansion to in return for a sponsorship that would be much more effective, and not require constant new arrangements with every club who might buy a Chelsea player.

You're a sensible poster but you've come up with a ridiculous theory that's really quite hypocritical considering how much offence you take to opposition fans or media having similar theories about City.
Makes you think

Exactly. It just doesn’t make sense for Sterling to go in Jan unless we’re bringing in a permanent replacement who we actually want
Keep the squad happy? The Grealish transfer displaced Sterling meaning that it's very difficult for him to secure a place in our starting line-up given the scale of investment in Grealish.

One way out is a swap for Depay

Tell me you’re being sarcastic?

and why weaken the squad by letting one player go, whilst another is away at Afcon. Plus the inevitable injuries. It doesn’t make sense unless we’re bringing someone in
