    correct. city were 2-0 down but pulled one back and were hammering derby. the ref blew for full time as tueart's shot was on its way into the net. the clown had added only 30 seconds injury time even though the derby fans had kept hold of the ball behind the goal for a full 2 minutes as a time wasting exercise. even the media were at a loss to understand why he did this.

    1916 - Alf Capper scored five goals in City's 8-0 Lancashire Section win over Blackburn. It was his only City appearance

    1989 - On your third birthday, Howard Kendal in his third game in charge guided us to a 2-0 victory over Millwall. David White scored both.

    And some of the Bench Seats from the old Platt Lane stand were sed by Flixton FC

    (with a number of gardens across Manchester also gaining new furniture)
