He doesn't need to take a cut, someone e.g. Sevilla offered half apparently. So the rags should have cut their losses and paid half as well for 6mths, in which time he could score 10-15 and all of a sudden get people interested in his services next summer. Now Martial is going to sit there earning 200k and contribute nothing.This is what you need to understand.
He is on a 200 grand a week contract until june 2024
That is his guaranteed wages until then
He will not take a cut on those wages. So unless United pay him off or some other mug printers want to pay that he will stay, unhappy or not.
Why because 200 grand a week for the next 26 months will make him a very wealthy man.
I do not understand why some people cannot grasp it.
The lad himself wants to go it seems, hes not doing a Danny Mills here and sat on his arse to collect wages.
We let Dzeko and Tevez go for basically fuck all just to get them shifted off the wage bill and the low fee allowed Roma and Juventus to top up their wages so they didn't take a hit personally.
