5 from me.

I know everyone keeps going on about Defensive midfield but as soon as Dinho signed his extension that was done.

we lost Aguero and didn’t replace him, I understand the market was difficult but we’ve had a good 6 months get a deal done.

left back has been our Achilles heal for many years now, we have known what was likely to happen with Mendy and not addressed the situation.

Jack is a good addition and will fit the squad well and add another dimension. Keeping Laporte and Bernardo is massive for us.

I've given it a 7.

I like Grealish but now way is he a £100m player - so that was a 2 from me.

Not signing Kane didn't bother me, if Grealish isn't worth £100m (in my opinion) then a 28 yr old with polystyrene ankles is definitely not worth £150m - so I added 2 points for this.

Not getting Ronaldo was the best news I had in some time - so I added 10 points for this, the window up to 14!

Not signing Martial, who was on offer.....yep, they were actually trying to get rid of him. Whodafunk it for, at one time, the most expensive teenager in world football. I believe he may even have been touted as a future Balon hors d'oeuvres winner - I took 7 points off for this......

7/10
Grealish And kept all our important players plus we will get to see Ferran as striker for a lot more games plus delap might actually get a game or two! At some point we had to give Ferran a long run in this side kid looks great.. so positive for this season..

4. Disappointing, for me. When we let Sergio go last spring (the right decision, by the way), we must surely have had our sights set on a replacement striker. Yet, for whatever reason, and whoever you want to blame, we failed to land one. Yes, we secured Grealish, who will be a fantastic player for us. But was he the priority over a proven front man?

7 from me.

We kept Bernardo, Laporte, Jesus and Sterling - just need to get Sterling his mojo back and he needs to figure out where he fits now that Grealish and Foden have taken his left attacking spot.

We added Grealish who will be a good addition - not sure about £100m, but that is the market for an England International.

We ducked an overpriced Kane, and the vanity projects of Messi or Ronaldo - just hope we have done another Sanchez on that one.

Like others, I would have liked a specialist left back - but we know that Cancello, Laporte and Ake can cover there.

Less bothered about a centre forward, We have Torres and Sterling and I hope Delap gets some opportunities and takes them. I know people will point at Sterling's record of missing chances, but I would point at his record of getting into the right places and scoring them - I think that with Grealish and Jesus in the roles they are playing there are going to be more 6yd box tap ins - Sterling is better at making those runs than Torres, most of his mistakes come from further out.

Some good loans out for youngsters - whether they are going to make it at City or elsewhere, they have a chance to show their ability as professional footballers. Although, some of the fees for those who have been sold or released seem disappointing - just hope we have good sell on clauses.

Stacked squad, rejuvenated players, grealish and a couple of (apparently) good youngsters. Saved money for a big summer next season if lb and striker position still need strengthening.

Don’t get the negative response but sometimes you need to take a step back and appreciate what we have.

League and a couple of cups.
