Rate the Season 2017/18

Incredible season. We really do need to have some impact on the CL soon, only thing letting us down, hopefully next year.
 
In years to come analysts will begin with Pep's arrival in 2016 and City's appointment of, quite simply, the best coach in the world, one of a very small number of idealists and visionaries who really have changed the way football is played in England. Last season will no longer be seen in terms of Fraudiola or the triumph of the PL over Pep, but as a year of squad renewal in preparation for this glorious Centurions' season when the great man made winning the most difficult league in the world look so ridiculously easy and broke every record in the record book doing it. Everyone of them will have seen it coming and knew it would happen. What will be lost is the sheer wonder of it all, the absolute, open mouthed amazement with which we watched this unprecedented story unfold: old men who had watched City and football for 50, 60 or 70 years and never dreamt that football could be played like this, or of young boys who had watched their heroes with uncontainable joy before spending hours in their back garden practising a skill which they had been inspired to try and perfect. For this has not been a season in which Pep and City have won two titles and set a host of records: this has been a season in which they have inspired young and old, not only in Manchester but everywhere with a vision of how football really can be the beautiful game. Pep has copyrighted winning but winning beautifully.

Seems churlish to rate it like this tho. Has been the best football I've ever seen in this country & the most enjoyable season of my life, and that's something you can't really quantise
