Sometimes it's best to start strong, get a lead and then give the young lads a run out. Leipzig despite the poor form are no mugs.
He's obviously resting the players that the sports science data and physios say need resting.
That £2.5m can't be sniffed at either, I imagine the clubs hierarchy have said we could do with it, that'll be £12.5m for all the groups wins. That's a deposit on a world class centre forward.
Add to all that we're on a good run, 7 straight wins, might as well keep that up.
